What an awesome trek with SPONDYLUS in Atacama! Hans thanks for creating an excellent challenging itinerary.
I'd have to insist that anyone going to Atacama with SPONDYLUS ask for Adrian, he is the perfect guide... professional, knowledgeable about the people/history, the stars, the geology, and the physical challenges of high altitude desert trekking. Assistant guides Jean-Claude and Nico Parkinson were also excellent and helped make the trip complete. Pili Volcano was probably among the most physically/mentally demanding challenges I've ever had but it was equally rewarding, majestic, and beautiful.
I'm definitely planning on coming back to Chile... more volcanoes in the Atacama and Aconcagua!
